Pacecraft ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and share information when you use the Pacecraft mobile application (the "App").

1. Information We Collect

Account Information

• Your email address
• Your Google account identifier, collected via Google Sign-In

Health & Workout Data

• Running and workout data from Apple HealthKit, including workout duration, distance, heart rate, and activity type — only when you grant permission
• We do not collect any health data without your explicit consent

Coaching & Chat Data

• Messages you send to the AI coaching assistant
• Training plans and coaching advice generated in response to your messages

Usage Analytics

• Anonymous usage events (such as which features you use and how often) collected via Firebase Analytics
• Device type and iOS version

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide personalized AI coaching and training plans
• Remember your workout history and coaching context
• Process your subscription and manage your account
• Improve the App's features and performance
• Communicate important updates about your account or the App

3. Third-Party Services

Google Sign-In
We use Google Sign-In for authentication. Your Google account information is subject to Google's Privacy Policy.

Firebase Analytics (Google)
We use Firebase Analytics to understand how users interact with the App. Analytics data is anonymous and does not include your personal health information. Subject to Google's Privacy Policy.

OpenAI (via Backend Proxy)
Your coaching messages are processed by OpenAI's language models to generate responses. This processing occurs through our backend servers — your messages are not sent directly from your device to OpenAI. OpenAI processes data subject to its Privacy Policy.

Apple App Store & StoreKit
Subscription billing is handled entirely by Apple. We do not receive or store your payment information. Subject to Apple's Privacy Policy.

4. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your account information and coaching history while your account is active. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from the Settings screen in the App. Upon account deletion, your personal data — including your email address, coaching history, workout data, and subscription records — is permanently and immediately removed from our servers.

To prevent abuse of our free-tier usage limits, we temporarily retain a non-reversible cryptographic hash of your Google account identifier for up to 90 days after deletion. This hash cannot be used to identify you or reconstruct any personal information. It is automatically deleted after 90 days.

5. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Export your data in a portable format
• Withdraw consent for health data access via iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Health

6. Data Security

We protect your information using industry-standard security measures, including encrypted data transmission (HTTPS) and secure server infrastructure. Your health data is only accessed with your explicit permission and is never shared with third parties for advertising purposes.

7. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the updated policy in the App. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
